Description

Hexagonal lobule with central vein at the center and portal triads at the corners. Hepatocytes arranged in plates one cell thick.

    Hepatic artery + portal vein + bile duct.

    Polygonal cell with prominent nucleolus; pink granular cytoplasm.

    Fenestrated capillaries between hepatocyte plates; Kupffer cells reside here.
