Description

Bowman capsule encloses a tuft of capillaries (glomerulus). Surrounding tubules: PCT (eosinophilic, brush border) + DCT (smaller, no brush border).

    Filtrate collects here before entering PCT.

    Tall cuboidal with brush border + abundant pink cytoplasm.

    Distal convoluted tubule (DCT)

    Smaller, no brush border, clearer lumen.
